The Highly Sensitive Trait (HST), also known as Sensory Processing Sensitivity, is a personality trait found in 15-20% of the population. As a pediatrician with a personal experience of being highly sensitive, I am dedicated to raising awareness about HST in the pediatric medical and therapy community. Through PedsLoveHSCs, I aim to share educational content to help pediatric health professionals better understand and support highly sensitive children. In addition, I offer speaking engagements to discuss the unique needs of highly sensitive individuals and potentially plan to provide educational materials in the future.
